Seattle area sculptor, Paul Vexler’s interest lies in creating a visual and spatial experience within an environment. His delicate wood sculptures have evolved from his understanding of geometry in the natural world. The fluidity in which Paul creates sculpture in wood is astounding. He makes his own plywood veneers with just the right amount of strength and flexibility. Giant bands of wooden ribbon seamlessly float upon suspended cables or project vertically from a solid base.

Paul has received large scale commissions nationally and is a part of the WSU permanent art collection. He is currently on exhibit for the next year at the Boise Art Museum.

Please join us on First Thursday, September 3 at 6 pm and meet Paul Vexler in person.
