FIG, First Independent Gallery, is pleased to announce we are moving to a new suite number at Bergamot Station.  After almost twenty years in our location in Bergamot’s G Building we will be moving to suite D2, which formerly housed the Laura Korman Gallery.  We wish Laura all the best with her new endeavors and look forward to carrying on her high standards.

Our move coincides with the beginning our new exhibition schedule and the introduction of seven new artists to the gallery’s roster: Laura Danielson, Helen Desmond, Janyce Erlich-Moss, James Farrington, Shirley Asano Guldimann, Louise Mordaunt and Susan C. Price.  James Farrington will be our opening exhibition, please join us Saturday, September 9, 5 – 7 PM.

Continuing with the gallery are artists Ray Brown, Kate Browning, Marlene Capell, Claire Chene, Paul Donaldson, Theresa G. Fernald, Diana Gordon, Arleen G. Hendler, Carla Jerome, William Lane, Lorraine Lubner, Chris Madans, Sylvia Marcin, Elena Mary Siff, Hilary Taub, Sara Wylie Walsh, Otella Wruck and Yda Ziment.

FIG originally opened its doors in 1993 on Broadway in Santa Monica and moved to Bergamot Station in 1998.  FIG is an artist run gallery created by a group of artists looking to exhibit their work in a supportive environment that emphasizes the artist’s point of view.  We have been thrilled and grateful to enjoy a loyal and enthusiastic audience over the years and look forward to sharing this next chapter with you.

All our contact information remains the same except for our new suite number:
