Into the Deep
Alfredo Barbini, Dale Chihuly, Shayna Leib, Kelly O’Dell, Kait Rhoads, Raven Skyriver, and Hiroshi Yamano among others.
Into the Deep will introduce visitors to the similar properties between glass and water, taking them on a journey through the wide possibilities of glass and the beauty of marine life.

Art Deco Glass from the David Huchthausen Collection
The exhibition will highlight the historic European roots of the Studio Glass movement with works of art characterized by smooth lines, geometric shapes, streamlined forms, and bright colors dating back to the 19th and 20th centuries.

Linda MacNeil: Jewels of Glass
MacNeil’s innovative use of glass to create elegant, wearable jewelry provides a unique opportunity for the museum to display her work. MacNeil has been a pioneer in the Studio Glass movements since the 1970s.

The Museum of Glass provides a dynamic learning environment to appreciate the medium of glass through creative experiences,
collections and exhibitions. In addition to the Hot Shop Amphitheater where visitors can watch artists work, the facilities include
galleries, outdoor exhibition areas, a theater, hands-on art studio, grand hall, café and store.

The Museum of Glass is sponsored in part by Alaska Airlines, Forest Foundation, The Ben B. Cheney Foundation, City of Tacoma Arts Commission, The Greater Tacoma Community Foundation, The Dimmer Family Foundation, and ArtsFund.
