Tobey Moss is travelling during the month of April. Aside from visiting clients/collectors on the East Coast, we are participating in the Capital Art Fair in Washington, DC April 6th and 7th… and will extend our travels until the beginning of May.

We have invited Molly Barnes, a very independent art dealer, radio personality and former gallerist to install a 'Pop-Up' Gallery during the month of April.

Opening on Tuesday, April 2nd - 6 to 8 pm - there will be a reception for her selected artists: Roland Reiss, Dawn Arrowsmith and Jill Sykes. The show will run until April 30th.

Flowers, Shade and the Natural Curve, curated by Molly Barnes features new work by Los Angeles favorites Roland Reiss, Dawn Arrowsmith and Jill Sykes.

Molly Barnes is a New York and Los Angeles art dealer, curator, collector, radio personality, author, and art critic credited with discovering John Baldessari, Gronk, Mark Kostabi, Robert Cottingham, among others. As a pioneering art dealer who owned a gallery on Los Angeles' famed La Cienega Gallery Row in the 1960s, Barnes helped build renowned art collections for producer Norman Lear and director Billy Wilder. She currently runs art programs at the Roger Smith Hotel in New York, teaches at Otis Art Institute and is the Artist in Residence at West LA College.

Roland Reiss is a painter and sculptor from Southern California who has exhibited extensively at major museums and galleries throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia, and South America. A recipient of over forty prizes and awards, including four NEA grants, he has been a major presence in the Los Angeles art world. During the 1970s and 1980s, he created miniature sculptures of scenes from everyday and imaginary life. Since 1992, Reiss has concentrated exclusively on painting. His work is located in many public, corporate and private collections.

Dawn Arrowsmith is an American artist based in Los Angeles. She has exhibited her paintings, works on paper, sculptures, installations and performance art in United States and Europe. She has exhibited at LACMA, Jancar Gallery, William Turner Gallery and at Barnsdall Park.

Jill Sykes, an illustrator and graphic designer, has been a full time painter since the late 1990s. She is collected by the Beach Club, Jonathan Club, The Bellagio Hotel and The Waldorf Astoria Hotel. She designed the famous Sycamore House in Pacific Palisades where she etched her designs into the exterior and interior of the house itself. She has shown at the Brewery Art Walk and Venice Art Walk for the past 15 years.
