The works of Peter Lodato and Eric Johnson complement each other so as to create an interesting dialogue between non-objective painting and wall-based sculpture. Lodato's paintings blur the line between soft and hard edge abstraction. The minimal forms and colors appear hazy and out of focus through the build-up of multiple layers and careful brush strokes. His subtle and evocative works invite contemplation, especially when seen in contrast to Johnson's meticulously crafted wall- and floor-based wooden sculptures that recall star-bursts and elongated columns.
