Robin Cameron is a New York based multi-media artist who is interested in the representation of time. Her installation presents a 9 minute split screen video “Near Future, Recent Past,” a syncopated six slide projector piece “When is it,” and a series of cyanotypes on silk that hang on brass structures and display different numerical representations of time using abstract typography. The works are both personal and universal as they track different notions of time, history, the analog and the digital and the different ways in which information is disseminated
